Overnight Oats
Oats are an excellent source of complex carbs, meaning they’ll keep you fuelled for longer and saving you from unconscious snacking. Better yet – they’re super easy to make!
This recipe is such a fave in our household, even the kids love it. You can get creative with different toppings, or even add a scoop of protein powder to give it an even bigger nutrition punch!
Ingredients
- 80g frozen berries
- 50g oats
- 120ml milk
- 40g natural yoghurt
- 25g nuts/seeds
Tip: Feel free to change the toppings to suit your mood!
Directions
- In a bowl: combine the oats, milk & yoghurt.
- Place the frozen berries in a separate bowl.
- Leave the oat mixture & berries in the fridge overnight.
- The following morning, place your defrosted berries on top of the oats.
- Sprinkle the recipe with nuts/seeds or a topping of your choice!
